Jake Shores
Clinical Quality Manager, Global Medical Response (GMR)
Jake Shores is a clinical Quality Manager for Global Medical Response (GMR) with 18 years of experience in EMS as a paramedic. Jake was the first paramedic to graduate from the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) with a master’s in Healthcare Administration and Interprofessional Leadership (MS-HAIL). He is on the faculty for the Quality and Safety Course through NAEMSP. He is passionate about helping others and spreading his love for quality improvement, using the term “PDSA Cycle” every chance he gets. Jake is the chair of the Local Government Emergency Management Advisory Council (LGEMAC) for Oregon.
