Jon Baker joined the company in 2012 after serving multiple roles at a major public safety software firm, including customer support and as manager of engineering. He also has 11 years of experience working in the field as an EMT and paramedic dispatcher for several ambulance companies and the city of San Diego. “I feel at home in this industry, and it feels incredible to be a part of making it stronger through the work I’m involved with,” he says.
Outside of work, Jon has two very divergent interests: firearms and musical theater. He enjoys going to shooting ranges on weekends–at least when he’s not in rehearsals. When he’s not at FirstWatch he can be found spending time with his family or working as a Sound, Lighting, and Stage Technician with the City of Poway.
