Jim Veskerna

Jim’s career began in 1985 as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with two San Diego ambulance companies. Over the next decade, he worked as a field EMT and emergency medical dispatcher for Hartson Ambulance (MedTrans/AMR) in San Diego, handling operations for both city and suburban communications centers. In 1994, Jim transitioned to public safety technology, holding senior project and product management roles at two major public safety software companies before joining FirstWatch in 2010. He is a Pragmatic Marketing Certified Software Product Line Manager with extensive experience managing product lines, including Telephony, Computer-Aided Dispatch, Mobile, and RMS. His background in Software Support, IT, and Sales gives him a unique perspective on understanding customer needs.
