Ryan Maloney came to FirstWatch in 2014 with 21 years of experience in the public safety industry. With a special focus on clinical work, Ryan aims to give our customers the ability to focus on what is important in their particular service so that they can spend less time trying to determine where they can improve. “It is my job to help our customers determine the best way to utilize their data,” says Ryan. “Anytime you reach that ‘ah-ha’ moment with a customer where you are solving a problem together, that’s where the magic happens.”
When he first started college, it was Ryan’s dream to become a radio broadcaster. Somewhere along the way though, Ryan began volunteering for his local fire department – his career in EMS was born. In order to turn his passion for helping others into a career, Ryan received his Bachelor of Science in Emergency Medical Services from the University of New Mexico. After well over two decades of working in the public safety industry, Ryan has held a number of positions including ski patrol, an EMT in a busy rural service, a paramedic in a busy urban service, a flight paramedic and a paramedic educator.
