Ryan Dedmon
Data Analyst
Ryan Dedmon, MA, is a Data Analyst at FirstWatch and brings nearly 25 years of experience in public-safety with him. He is a former police officer and retired police dispatcher from Southern California where he served 12 years in law enforcement. Ryan holds a Master of Arts degree in Forensic Psychology and is a certified CIT Coordinator. He is a subject matter expert in occupational stress-related injuries first-responders can experience and peer support systems.
Outside of FirstWatch, Ryan is the Outreach Director for the 911 Training Institute and is a California POST-certified Academy Instructor at the Regional Criminal Justice Training Center at Golden West College in Huntington Beach. These roles allow him opportunity to speak at conferences and teach various training classes for first-responders to help them optimize their personal health and reach peak performance at work. Ryan also sits on the Health & Wellness Committee for APCO International, helping the organization as it creates guidelines and best practices for the 9-1-1 industry.
