Whether working in San Diego 911 EMS system or in the restaurant industry (he spent about a decade in each), Ben’s experience has a common thread: excellent service. It’s the centerpiece of his work now as part of FirstWatch Customer Care, where he strives to deliver whatever helps our customers most.
Since earning his EMT certification at Miramar College in San Diego, Ben’s career has focused on public safety in 2012, starting first as a Bridged EMT on a 911 ambulance—a role that took him far from his very first job shucking corn at a produce market.
These days, you’re likely to find Ben spending time with his wife and two sons, whether that means hiking, playing video games, taking the kids to Jiu Jitsu or Muay Thai, strumming his guitar, or playing with puppy Penny at the dog park. (Alas, family cats Butters – aka Tiny Cat – and Ellie have to stay home.)
