With over a decade of dedicated experience in public safety, Tommy has built a robust career that spans from the front lines as an EMT and 911 dispatcher to the technical realms of software training and analysis where he has developed a deep understanding of the challenges faced by first responders. Recognizing the crucial role of technology in enhancing Public Safety, Tommy pivoted to specialize in the software side of things to empower 911 centers and First responders with the tools and knowledge needed to optimize their operations.

As the recipient of the 2015 Heart Outcome Consortium Life Saver award Tommy has dedicated his life to making a difference every day. “Being in public safety isn’t just a job, it’s my passion to be able to help people in the communities we live in and the communities we serve.” he says.

Currently, Tommy contributes his expertise to FirstWatch as a Business Analyst, where he continues to innovate and support public safety initiatives.

Outside of work, Tommy coaches High School Speech and Debate, helping to foster the next generation of effective communicators. As a proud Kansas City native he is often found cheering on his Kansas City Chiefs and eating world famous barbeque. His love for travel and immersion in different cultures has taken him around the world and he looks forward to crossing more countries off his bucket list. Oh, and don’t be surprised if you see him staring at an airplane flying overhead… There is a good chance he can tell you what kind it is and where it is headed.
