With a BS in Business Management and MA in Organizational Leadership, plus experience as an emergency medical dispatcher and Advanced EMT, Val is well-suited for the Business Analyst position.

Val seeks a greater purpose in life, such as helping public safety professionals and their organizations reach their full potential. That’s why she thrives in her new role, helping customers optimize their use of FirstWatch software and identifying ways to improve their return on investment.

In Val’s previous roles at an EMS agency and emergency management office, she used software platforms for tracking inventories, calls, hospitals, and more—and even used FirstWatch as a customer. This experience contributes to her duties of monitoring overall performance and recommending changes to customers depending on their goals.

In her free time, Val enjoys spending time with family and friends by the pool, watching football, or hanging out with her two cats and two pugs.
