The Evolution of our Success Story Helping TriTech (CentralSquare) Customers

In 1998, our founder and president, Todd Stout, left TriTech to start his own custom report development business called Stout Solutions. He wrote reports in Microsoft Access for TriTech and Priority Dispatch customers, and developed and taught TriTech’s report development classes. One of his early projects was to develop a tool for his customer in Kansas City, Missouri that would constantly monitor their TriTech CAD for a statistically significant increase in certain kinds of calls, and automatically send alerts to EMS leadership and the Public Health department. This tool eventually evolved into our core product, FirstWatch, and spawned it’s own company, FirstWatch Solutions, Inc. FirstWatch is based in Carlsbad, California, and since that start in 1998, has grown to over 50 team members, many of whom Todd originally hired at TriTech, and like him, came from public safety. FirstWatch is proud to connect to over 100 different types of software systems, including 9-1-1 phone, Computer-Aided-Dispatch (CAD), Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD), electronic Patient Care Records (ePCR), Record Management Systems (RMS), as well as related systems such as hospital data, for nearly 500 customer agencies, who serve over 36% of the population of the US and Canada. 83 of those customers use Central Square systems
